OUR TECHNOLOGY

  • Retinal Photography

    We can photograph the interior of your eyes and examine them for signs of damage and degradation. This will enable us to detect the early signs of glaucoma and macular degeneration, and monitor the progression of both. There is no additional fee for this service.

  • Visual Fields Assessment

    Our visual field analyser allows us to test for peripheral vision loss. Peripheral vision loss is common in eye diseases such as glaucoma and neurological conditions such as tumours and strokes.

With over three hundred frames on display, we offer an extensive high quality range selected to suit all different styles, tastes and personalities. Whether you are looking for something stylish and affordable or a little bit special from a high-end brand, we have something for everyone.

  • Specialty Frames

    Do you have reactive skin? Allergic to nickel frames? Or just want your frames to be as lightweight as possible? We stock a wide range of titanium, stainless steel, carbon fibre, and high quality Italian acetate frames which are light, strong, hypoallergenic, and look and feel fantastic.

  • Frame Fitting

    Once you’ve chosen your frame our experienced dispensers will adjust it to your face properly. These subtle, skilled adjustments of nose pad position, temple curve and lens tilt make all the difference to the long-term comfort of your new glasses.

  • Ongoing Adjustments

    We welcome our patients back to have their frames checked, adjusted and cleaned on a regular basis. We also provide after sales service including warranties and repairs.

LENSES

In addition to helping you choose the perfect frame, we can also assist you with choosing the perfect pair of lenses. Whether you wear single-vision, bifocal, or multifocal lenses, our high quality ophthalmic lens range has been carefully chosen to make your life better, simpler and safer. All of our lenses come with scratch resistant coating as standard to help with wear and tear, although we strongly recommend upgrading to an anti-reflective coating to maximum clarity and durability.

We’ll examine your eyes for signs of dry eye, blepharitis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts and more, and provide ongoing monitoring and treatment to ensure your eyes are as healthy as possible.


We are also able to remove most foreign bodies, and diagnose many acute ocular issues including flashers and floaters, sudden-onset loss of vision, and double vision.

  • Referrals

    Some eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration may require referral for further assessment and treatment. We maintain an excellent relationship with local ophthalmologists Dr Andrew Apel, Dr Jon Farrah and Dr Girish Jamnadas, and can advise you on how to proceed.

  • Reminders

    We know it’s easy to forget about things like getting your eyes checked, so we make things as easy as possible by phoning or sending you an SMS when it’s time for your next health check.
